The DOLCE Line
DOLCE Clarinet MP
Designed to provide freedom in the upper register, the DOLCE B-flat Clarinet mouthpiece has been winning converts steadily since its introduction. If there is resistance in the upper register, simply "bump" the reed higher by making it harder, or increasing the strength of the reed by 0.5. For example, 2.5 to 3.0 helps lower pitch and provide a rich tone. V-12 Vandoren reeds are recommended. |
DOLCE Bass Clarinet MP
This might be the "jewel" of the DOLCE line. Your bass clarinetist will experience freedom in the upper register like they have never experienced before. I have heard high school, college, and professional players easily play to high "F" above the treble staff. Rich, dark tone for blending - projection when needed. |
DOLCE Bari Sax MP (Includes Ligature)
Material is heavier and thicker than standard hard rubber - this was Jerry Hall's personal model. The freedom and control in the low register is simply incredible. The tone is rich, dark , and easily blends with the low brass to enrich the overall low timbre of the ensemble. |
